Hello. My EAD Category C9 based on pending I-485 and Supplement A was sent to the wrong address according to the tracking # given by USCIS. I have gotten every single document from USCIS on time at the correct address from USCIS except the EAD.

Discovery: USPS located where it went and it was in the USPS office at P.O Box XXXX. I went ahead and sent a note to that P.O. Box with my contact hoping that box holder would contact me but I have not received any communication so far.

I went ahead and did an online Service Request on the USCIS site to resend my EAD.

As of August 23, 2018, your request to have your Employment Authorization Document resent to you, referral number SRXXXXMSC, is currently not assigned for processing.

Any idea when USCIS will resend the card?

Should I also do an online Ombudsmann DHS-7001 form?

Unfortunately the instructions for the EAD filing fee reads like they will only issue a free replacement if it's their error. Do you know if it was misdelivered or if it was mislabeled?

Evidence from USPS tracking # given by USCIS shows a different address than my own. Money is not an issue but there was no option to pay but to do a SR.

Not sure why it was sent to a P.O.Box. I never had a box in my life.

Maybe you can ask an aged out dreamer for advice.

Call them and do a phone Service Request? I already have an online SR from 8/23/18.

Not sure if InfoPass will help. The EAD is coming from NBC in MO.

I had a similar issue happen to me. USPS delivered my EAD to the wrong address. I was unaware of this due to never getting a letter with tracking number, it was my mistake for thinking maybe they were taking their time to mail it to me. When I finally called USCIS they informed me it had been delivered like months ago. I got transferred to a t2 officer and he sent a ticket in for me. I ended up getting a letter that said since I could not prove I did not receive it (even though I sent a letter from the post master and GPS proof that it was scanned at the wrong address) I would have to pay the fees to get a replacement. In the end I paid the fee and got a new EAD.

Long story short: USPS sucks and you may have to just pay for a new card.
