Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said Saturday that the Senate will take up President Trump's plan to tie more than $5 billion for the border wall to temporary legal protections for some undocumented immigrants next week.

"I intend to move to this legislation this week. With bipartisan cooperation, the Senate can send a bill to the House quickly so that they can take action as well," McConnell said in a statement.

Now, Senate Republicans running in 2020 will be able to say they voted to protect DACA, but Democrats were opposed.

Apparently AP May be part of it. If so, pass that baby and sign it up!

If this passes we'll be legislatively protected. I wonder if they'll let us enlist.

So I can go be a marine like I originally wanted to be.

I want to fly the v-22 widowmaker Osprey.

Some smarty thought, what if we take the worst of a plane and the worst of a helicopter...

Even if there is I am not sure the House would even pass it, they want a permanent solution, as do I and most of us, but damn I'm getting desperate. At least this would be a legislative fix.

Would this allow an employer to sponsor us?

Possibly even Doug Jones if he wants to win re-election in Alabama come 2020.
