Rescheduling NVC appointment

My husband hasn’t had his 601A waiver approved yet, but we received an email from the embassy for the appointment scheduled in February at the embassy in El Salvador. How can we reschedule it? Do we need to call the NVC or the embassy in El Salvador?

From what I've seen, you just let the appointment pass and then you call the embassy to reschedule.
