The Post obtained internal figures showing the White House plans. If they go forward, it would be the second time the president has ordered that funds allocated to the Pentagon by Congress be diverted for wall construction, effectively bypassing lawmakers in an attempt to unilaterally deliver on a campaign promise. Trump has vowed to build 450 miles of new wall by the end of 2020 in hopes of galvanizing his political base before the next election.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Hopefully, he can use this to tell his base that he delivered on the wall, so he can give us something (to get more votes from hispanic community to win reelection).

I better not be able to see Mexicans climbing the wall. Everyone knows central Americans are generally incapable of climbing.


Mexicans are like spiders, they will need a 4d wall.

We can't even blame this on democrats, cause the republicans held them hostage here too. Either they sign the NDAA or the defense contractors wont put some spare change in their campaign funds.

Oh well, better luck next time. Who cares right, we can wait until democrats put this country back on the right track by 2030!

To be fair most of the money has been spent on upgrading the wall because even current parts of the wall are garbage tier scraps of sheet metal.

Or even small fences to stop vehicles.

Trump is using that money to build the wall and fence in his beloved DACAs, he did say he would take good care of us wouldn't he. LOL.

Then he cancels DACA greencard for wall deal at last minute.
