My sister is a licensed attorney in New York. She specializes in immigration law. If you can't fill out forms by yourself she can do it for you. I talked to her and she said that she won't charge you as much as other greedy lawyers. If anyone needs help send me a private message.

Maybe. I just had enough reading how some of you pay over 1k for an attorney to renew DACA. I thought it was insane.

I don't think it's against the rules.

Damn, people actually pay for this? I did all my DACA applications, I-130, I-601A, and I-360 on my own.

Yeah, I would never use an Attorney unless there is a very special and messed up situation like deportation proceedings. DACA renewal is the easiest thing out there to do. A figure like $1K is excessive. Attorneys should be reasonable with it. They should charge equivalent to what Accountant's charge to do a simple tax return.

They do. Someone said they charge 750$ to do AP. It's like 5 pages to fill out.

To attorneys defense law school is so expensive. I'm an accountant and my sister is an attorney and I know how much more she paid for school than me. So while my sister is reasonable with her fees I understand why others charge a lot. It's the same reason doctors charge like 300$ for a 5 minute visit when they basically don't do anything.

But yeah when you have previous renewal in front of you. Just follow the same steps. Not that complicated.
