DREAM and Post Grads?

Just a Quick (and Possibly dumb) question: If the dream act is enacted, would those of us that already have associates or bachelor's degrees skip the temporary visa and get LPR? or would we still have to do the temp?

Either way is A-ok by me, but i just wanna double check

^You would still have to get the conditional residency card. After 6 years, who ever has completely the 2 year military/education requirement will get their GC (after submitting proof of course).

The temp GC is pretty much the same except I believe there are stricter guidelines for how long you can stay out of the country (with this, I do believe things such as study abroad will possibly be out of reach for DREAMies until we get the official GC).
