Not even on a freaking BlueTooth!! thats ridiculous!! They claim if ur talking on ur fone, even if both hands are on the wheel, then ur head isnt completely on driving. Whats the next law? you cant talk to the passenger when ur driving?? lol this is so stupid.

I don't think it's stupid. When you're talking on your mobile you aren't fully focusing on driving, because you also have to focus on the conversation.

Plus I'm tired of the idiots trying to talk on the phone, drink their Frappumochawhateverchaichino, eat their bagel, do their hair AND drive at the same time. There is a time and place for everything.

I agree complete ban of cellphone while driving i've seen first hand many of my friends either driving slower or way faster or nearly crashing even passing red lights because they weren't fully focused on driving.

I also agree. Some people drive terribly without talking on a phone already; with the phone it is just an accident waiting to happen.

this is not good because where I work, the boss calls you and you're in the truck or sometimes you have to call costumers while driving...i guess things will have to change

I can understand where you guys are coming from as far as holding the actual device. However, this is stating that any use at all, including bluetooth and/or speaker fone. Thats the same as talking to a passenger beside or behind you. I think as long as what you're doing is hands free, and doesnt cause an obstruction of view then you should be aloud to do it, unless you arnt trying to do mental calculus with your eyes closed. also, as juang stated, some people drive FOR A LIVING. How will one be able to contact their dispatcher or place of work? "sorry you have to pull over while your on a delivery time schedule every time you have to call ur boss or dispatcher" its just dumb. BLUE TOOTH is the answer people. We can chew gum and walk at the same time (some of us) lol.

Meh, i think its a good idea. While there are some people who can talk and drive responsibly, there are some who dont.

Though i hope this ban comes with a NO TEXTING law included, because there are morons out there who text while driving. IT pisses me off.

how would they honestly go about enforcing the ban. "Sir I saw your mouth moving are you on a hands free cell phone?"

haha I'd say I was singing out loud!

No but seriously, as long as there's not a law against us putting on make up while driving, its all good! jk! I don't do that....

its frappucino daff lol and i do agree with that, although bluetooth is ok, but in a general sense, talking on the phone, will distract you in some way, expect those big business ppl to disagree, i see alot of em driving around in their benz and bmw's emailing/talking on their blackberry's.
