hello message

hi everyone,

I'm new to DAP. I, myself, am not an undocumented immigrant, but a very close friend of mine is, and therefore, the Dream Act matters a lot to me, as much as it does to him, and I'm sure, to everyone else here. I'd just like to comment on how baffled I am to see so many people here on DAP, sharing and understanding their stories, their struggles, and their life with everyone else. It makes me happy to see how easily some people can still come together and be there to lend an ear, some advice, or even a nice comment when they, themselves, are still dealing with their own demons. It gives me hope for humanity, and hope for the future. The Dream Act for many of us, those who are affected directly and those affected indirectly, is not just a simple legal documentation, it's the key to our dreams and future. I wish everyone here the best of luck on pursuing their goals and ambitions, and hopefully, it won't take the white house too long too open up the opportunities for such brilliant young people with so much potential.
