^sigh... if it's any sort of legitimate business, they're going to make you fill out an I-9, or some sort of work verification because they have to declare on what goes out for tax purposes.

Unless they pay you in cash in the back alley, there's no paid jobs/internships we can receive paychecks from (unless you're one of the few with ss#)

Stop being so naive people!!! They don't "let it slip by" unless they're absolutely retarded and don't care about the consequences.

Well yeah could happen! But that is why I strongly recommend ppl here to talk to their counselors about their situation or atleast trusted ppl to the school they go too about interships or jobs. In the end, breaking the silence could give you endless opportunities. I did it, and I am very happy I did, otherwise I would be sitting on my mother's couch just letting the days go by. And look K-man, I say they MIGHT let it slip, because that is what they did for me. OK?!

Congrats but there's never a happy ending to overlooking paperwork for employment, especially for bigger businesses.

One way or the other, it could very well come back to hurt you in the future, whether it be at the time of your adjustment via dream, or a surprise ICE raid. The times have changed and they don't just let people do whatever they want for hiring illegals.
