The rest of my family emigrated & legalized by filling out their own forms....

... actually a lawyer WOULD'VE been helpful in that situation since I too could've been included.

asdfasdfasfasdf.

But in this case, it doesn't look like you'll need a lawyer. Have you looked at the INS paperwork? It's pretty straightforward.

If we overstayed, wouldn't they just be able to see when you entered the country on their computers?

overstay will be very easy to prove, just bring the passport with the stamp coming in but no stamp going back or out, and done, proved, you just have to throw in the school transcript to show graduation or better the HS diploma, you meet the age based requirements.

The real challenge is on the EWI crowd, specially those that came relatively close to the cut off age.

.... what's important in the visa is the entry stamp, hopefully technology was in good use when you came in and they have actually kept record of people that came into this country when you came in.

In any case, if you can prove you being here before the age of 15 without leaving much doubt, you should be good, education, vaccination or medical records should be a good way to go, I imagine even when an ITIN number was issued might work, maybe.
