I post that only because I have experience with people asking me what part of Miami and they always look at me quizzically when I respond with Miami again, and some try to convince me that I am not from Miami but another county.

you are going to hate me for putting my interpretation of those statistics as being very likely the result that overstays were better off financially in order to be able to afford a better style of life, had the best probability to travel to a higher paying job, had a better diet more balanced diet not entirely composed of junk and all that culminates to better odds of graduating high school and knowing how to work a computer even having one.

Though the having a computer argument is not as strong anymore, it still has some validity in our ability to research information and locating this site.

But with that said, roughly 50% graduate high school, roughly 5% get to go to college or attend an institution of higher education, estimates provided by senator Durbin. The DREAM may have improved the odds by giving a greater incentive to complete high school and apply for college, but the cost would not be any different then what we observe now and eliminating the in-state tuition would also work as a disincentive. Furthermore, there are branches of the military that require high school graduation, there are even some branches that require college credits before applying specially if the applicant only holds a GED rather then a high school diploma. In fact there are many branches that will required at least 15 college credits from GED holders just to be considered in the same light as a high school graduate in their application. Meanwhile, if I could join I would be immediately promoted two ranks due to my JROTC record and having graduated high school, just on that.

Chemicals, I was recently accepted into the MBA program by a NY CUNY school. I put down Permanent Residence on my application and right now they are asking for a copy of my green card. I sent them an INS I-797C notice from 2004 for my green card application that was rejected long ago. It is one of the acceptable docs here in NY. If they still have beef with it, I am gonna declare myself as undocumented. They even have an affidavit for you to file:

But that's because it's CUNY?
CUNY is different from like graduate universities like UCLA, Printon, NYU, Yale, etc.

Isn't in-state tuition for undocumented a state-wide policy? You can look up this info on a SUNY website, I am pretty sure they will tell you the same. NYU and the like won't have in-state because they are private.
