Sorry I know a lot of people are still waiting to get approval, but since it can take up to 6 months or maybe even more to get approved. My job required me to have a valid ead as long as im working there.

My ead will expire dec 2014, does it mean I have to do the same thing over again before june 2014? or will there be a different renewal process?

I think any job requires you to have a valid EAD to work there. And yes you will have to apply months before year EAD expires. Assuming it last until then

I'm wondering if we will get a letter from USCIS reminding us to renew our EAD's like the DMV does when your license is about to expire or...not?

I would say no at this point as they don't do that for visa holders.They place the burden proof on the applicant to prove they are applicable for the benefit in question and that should also include renewal of said document.I also don't think the "Deferred Action" for Childhood arrival regulations concerning renewal have been released yet as well.
