Well today I'm finally going to apply for a social, I was so excited for being approved for DACA. Unfortunately my father passed away the day I received my EAD and I have been heart broken ever since. Sometimes I wish I could give all these documents back just to have my father back with me. But I will move ahead because that's what my father would of wanted for me and my family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad on 12/5/2010 and it was the worst day of my life. It's very hard and I cried everyday for months but I can tell you that after a few months I finally had peace. It may be faster for you or longer, everybody is different but I know that my dad is in a better place and hopefully that might bring you a little bit of peace.

OP, I'm sorry for your loss and my condolences go out to you and your family. I'm sure your dad left this world extremely happy knowing that you were finally going to be able to achieve so much more. Go out and show everyone what you're made of! Make him even more proud of you!
