Aquarius, that's what I'm thinking...life goes on, but some things are on pause because of it.

Tell me about it. My husband is doing EMT now. He needs his social and his working papers to work and to take his state test. He will be done in May. Lord help us if he doesn't get his papers by then.

This is why you have to be on their ass because on 2/28 I spoke with a level 2 rep and he submitted a request for me (even tho I know they will tell me the same generic answer they've been telling everyone) and he told me that if I haven't received a response by 3/15 to call them. So I just talked to a level 1 rep and she said that no request was filed, I have the confirmation # they gave me but she didn't even want to take it she just transfered me to the level 2 people. She did seem aggravated that they submitted a request tho because she said they have been told not to submit requests for 821D for being out of the processing timeframe. That's why I think it's important I follow up on everything with them because clerical errors happen all the time. And I don't want to be waiting a year or more just to hear that they overlooked my application and they haven't even touched it. Because they are so hateful that they probably wouldn't even apologize for a major fuck up like that.

I just got an update thought I should shear it

The I821D Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Hopefully it means good news

yup i bet most of our applications are sitting around collecting dust untouched , i will definetely be calling after i hit my 6th month mark , which would be past their timeframe
