Does anybody know of any College in Miami accepting students without a SSN? with an Illegal status.

Here a brief introduction of myself.

My name is Oscar , Im 19 years old and I was born in Honduras. But I`ve been living in United States for the past five years.
I graduate from High School last year. I applied for admission at a local public College here in Miami . Which I was denied to do. Because of my
illegal stattus. It was a huge desilusion, I was ready to keep on track and achieve my goals, one of them was study Architecture.
But I guess thats life. God give wings to people who not deserve them. But now that Im not the only one with this situation I get stronger
everyday, hoping that the Senate pass The Dream Act so us student can finally get a better education. Hope to have friends from everywhere
in this forum who can I share stories with. Speacially from Florida.

Thank You All
And Have a Good Day !

Welcome, you will find this place very helpful and supportive..
Please begin calling your senators - we have a thread "CALLING BLITZ" in the Taking Action section. It is updated calling plan every 3 days.. That helps alot- we have already changed TWO anti-immigration reform senators that will now be voting FOR the dream act.. Very Happy

I understand your situation and I went throught the same thing, I was only able to be admitted to the college through a student visa and I was able to study, you also have the chance to work in the university, tuition is expensibe but it will help you to advance. Check with your immigration attorney to see but be pascient for the Dream Act sooner or later we will demonstrate that we are people that want to show success in this country...good luck
