21 days of Trump and no repeal. This EO is easy to completely repeal... This makes me believe it won't be a full repeal.

he literally had the daca repeal EO in front of him on Jan 25th. he couldve repealed it then... but now they are still accepting applications and renewals even from people with final orders.

but.. there is rumor that he is gonna roll out another set of immigration eos next week cuz he lost so badly on the muslim ban. i just hope he doesnt take it out on us that he lost bigly in the courts.

DACA will be repealed eventually but I just hope they do it after they pass some legislation.

do i think we will get USC? nah. legalization? long shot.
but there will be relief. im not saying the trump admn is sympathetic to dreamers.. hell nah. they are using us as leverage for negotiations to get something in teturn.

i just know this mayne. i go 24/7 with this shit. i aint got 2 degrees in government and policy for nothing, i experienced how policy works when i worked for the house of representatives. i have no stake in this... my family already got deported under bush and obama. if it doesnt work out here ill admit i was wrong, i can make it anywhere after what ive been thru here.
If CIR passes we'll probably be the only group that will get a path to citizenship. That's fair no? Only 750,000 will get a path. I'm sure some Republicans will accept that.

Everyone else will get what we have right now with a travel permit/ probation etc..

DACA is a bargaining chip... He's holding on to it until he needs to get something...like his SCOTUS pick.

I'm just amused that people on this forum still have faith in Der Fuhrer. "He hasn't repealed DACA yet so he must like us! I bet congress is going to pass a law for us...hell, maybe CIR!" Meanwhile they're going around rounding up anybody they can catch without mercy.

They are blue pulled (yes, Matrix reference). They'd rather live in state of ignorant bliss and use coping mechanisms to prevent them from accepting the hard truth. They also have a superman complex, "Oh, it's not gonna happen bro, don't worry the Bridge Act will pass". But, don't worry once all the EAD expires when DACA is repealed, they will wish they followed my advice.

What's your advice? Leave? Some of us don't have that option. I don't understand why some of you with pessimistic views like you even visit this forum. Don't even bother coming here and leave the country already. What's the point?
