The capital one was also the first card I applied for as well. I started with 300 but recently had my credit increased to only $500. I Wonder what's the reason for the discrepancy. Perhaps my reported annual income is too low? I did just apply for the discover it as well, so I hope I get approved for that and I'm given a generous credit limit. My current credit karma score is like 730.
