did they pass it today ? On Cspan it says House Passes Climate and Energy Pill. Now it heads to the senate.

A defeat on the climate bill would negatively affect the momentum of immigration reform as it's the next one on the list. It would embolden Obama's opponents to go after another of his major objectives and will use any victory as a rallying cry.

The Senate will work on the climate bill, and the President will work on securing the votes just like he worked to secure the votes in the House.
