OP's thoughts: also on CNN, Trump said before leaving for Davos that hes for DACAers to gain permanent citizenship after 10-12 yrs, "if they behave."

So we can guess that 10 years for those that had DACA, 12 years for those who did not.

I might be in the minority. I honestly don't care how long citizenship takes. Just to be free to work, travel and enjoy life. I don't Care if I have to renew every 2-5 years for a while, as long as it's a law and don't have to worry about being taken away for no reason.

Sounds good to me.

I think the controversial aspects of the plan will primarily focus on the border security measures. At least, we have an option at citizenship. It's all good.

Our hope right now is that whatever they release Monday is reasonable for both sides and The White House does not change their minds after they get attacked by Breitbart and Fox News. Personally I’m ok with that timeline of 10-12 years.

Seems to me like the republicans realize they can't keep shoving dreamers off to the side since the majority of the US is pressuring them. They're going to want the credit for it.
