The #DACA decision rests upon an interpretation of the Administrative Procedures Act (APA). @SecMayorkas has already filed an intent to pursue APA rulemaking. Time to put that project on the front burner! Until a higher court reverses this Texas district court judge, @USCIS cannot approve new, initial #DACA applications for those applicants who have never had DACA before. What does this mean for #DACA? FOR NOW, @USCIS may continue to accept & adjudicate applications from people who have had DACA previously (whether they let it expire or not), BUT per this Texas Judge, USCIS may NOT approve any NEW DACA apps (people who never had it before). |
I really hope everyone who didn’t initial applied to have done it before this rule
