I did not have my ITIN when I went into WaMu to open my account and even spoke to the manager about it. They said I needed it and sent me home to get it.

3. I provided $99 as a security deposit for a card with a $500 credit limit that charges a $29 annual fee with a 20% interest rate.

4. Since my account was in good standing(no late fees, over the limit credit, etc), 9 months later, they gave me my $99 security deposit back and raised the credit limit to $1,000.
wow, I had to talk to one of my dads contacts to get a credit line. I thought that was the only way.

BofA is a pretty good Bank, they also raised my credit limit from $700 to $1,200 in a relatively short amount of time. The only bad part is that my interest rate is 19%.

Yeah I've got a student credit card from BofA with no annual fee, a credit line of 700$, but the interest is around 20%.

Well that's because I don't have good credit. If I were to have good credit, it would be much lower since interest is negotiable.

Seems a little high to me but if you pay off your bill every month (don't carry a balance) then you pay 0% . Do you guys plan on buying stuff you cant afford and carry a balance?

Speaking of credit cards, I just applied for one through BoA yesterday so wish me luck. I have bad credit. If not, I'll have my husband do it when his ITIN comes in, since you guys seem to figuring that out fine.
