Lol yeah but i would only work with one screen so you will have to choose because it only has one video card with one output unless it had integrated but it doesn't so you have to choose what you want to use the laptop lcd or your monitor.

Damn... oh well, i guess it would be a good excuse to get rid of the huge desk i'm using right now. God knows i need more space in my room.

Lol, but that laptop has really parts and if you play games the video card should handle most games but yeah its a good deal for the price.

That is a nice laptop but just so you know, the 8600m gs is on the low end of midrange cards. In other words most new directx 10 games will have to be played on lowest settings. Blu ray is nice...

i was wondering if i can get some advice on laptop shopping (since you all know much more than i do about these things) .

i need one that isn't more than a grand , has good battery life, wont heat up (thats how my old one died v.v ) and isn't too big .

ive had an ok experience with my old HP one but wanted to know how the other brands performed and what i should stay away from.

please and thankyou.

that depends, what do you want to do with the laptop? Just study or play wow or games on it?

If you can't afford expensive laptops like me, do what I did. I got Samsung NC10 for 468 dollar. It is perfect for studying and has 5-7 hours of battery life. It is these new things called "netbooks." It is too small to be a laptop but it is perfect for studying and all other purposes but game.

I highly recommend it. I have never bought a laptop and still couldn't afford it. So I decided to invest some money into this netbook due to its long battery power so I can study with it outside. I can't study at home, I end up slacking.

Macbooks ftw. Try to find one on craigslist. It will be the best decision you'll ever make.

geronimo- do you have word ,excel ,powerpoint and all those other fun bits in the netbook?

well all i really need is to type up stuff, make presentations, access the net ,chat, study , spread the word about DREAM and what not , i work alot with videos so i need something that wont catch fire when i run those.

anitagreencard- did you know that you share a name with a very famous tranny ? (lol) anyways ... thanks for tip ill search it now .

Mona- i heard rumors about that too. its not going to be very diff from vista i think . i think the realease is in 2010 :\ im not sure.

ah the peer pressure from mac >.< haha.
i will look into it though. but i think it ends up being pretty expensive with the windows apps.
