OKLAHOMA CITY - A federal judge on Wednesday blocked parts of an Oklahoma law targeting illegal immigration, saying the measures are probably unconstitutional.

U.S. District Judge Robin J. Cauthron issued a preliminary injunction prohibiting enforcement of provisions of the law that subject employers to penalties for failing to comply with a federal employee verification system.

*high five*

But seriously the federal gov. needs to do something to fix this problem.

The only good thing about these tough laws is that it shows how much strict immigration laws hurt a state (see Arizona) so the only other options are do nothing and let it get worse or cir.

ps. when i say good, i think any tough immigration law is bad, but it shows just how much immigrants are needed in our country.

When are these states going to learn the following concept: jurisdiction over immigration dilemmas is under federal stature.

I totally agree. Does anyone know the effects it has had in Arizona? I've heard people are super racist there...

well seems that each state wants to give it a try, to inmigration laws, too bad that they have studied History and try to keep updated, but dont learn from the stated facts...lol...they need us one way or another...at one level or at another...
