yeah I'm from Texas and that's what I was talking about the dream act helping me pay instate tuition. And yeah as you guys may have noticed I've never taken co-OP before (since I can't even spell it) :-/
well I spoke to my councilor and he said theres really not a way to take co-op in my situation; but I could talk to the teacher in charge of that class and ask if I could substitute that one credit...
to tell you the truth it makes me feel really bad being stuck like this. I'm really grateful for having all these opportunities many people wish they could have but sometimes I feel going to college and finishing all these degrees are not even going to help me at the end to even get a job... It feels as if I'm just wasting my life... Good thing I'm not the suicide type lol

You might be able to do an internship somewhere, but you really have to do a lot of research before you find something that doesn't need a SSN.

The provision from Texas (HB 1403) that allows you to pay in-state isn't just a state version of the Dream Act. Just to avoid confusion in the future.

thing is your not really "stuck". For example, Microsoft has a wonderful internship program where you don't need a SS# if you have the brains and the faith you will go far. i just hope no one gives up on themselves.
