Newbie here!

Okay.. I am, it seems, the newest member to the portal at the moment. I joined because I ran across the Dream Act, as I was doing some research for something that I'd like to start in my community. I want to learn as much as possible about the status of the Dream Act. My goal is to become actively involved in its implementation and see how I can help out the students in my community. It's as simple as that. Lookin' forward to meeting some great people here and sharing some good ideas.

I would be interested in helping out as much as I can. I have some good friendships with some students that are facing this dilemma in the a couple of years and they're really good students.
