I just found something horrible is happening in my native country of Dominican republic, there's half million kids born in the DR of Haitian parents and are not even citizens because the parents are Illegal, i cant be a hypocrite and expect the USA to give me my Dream and this kids cant even get an education, cause they have no papers, if there's other Dominican Dreamers out here we can do something for our corrupt govt gives Haitians and amnesty just how we want one here.

That doesn't make any sense. The Dominican Republic base their citizenship on Jus soli if I'm not mistaken in which if a person is born regardless of the parents citizenship they should be DR citizens at birth.

The problems between DR & Haiti are not recent & has been an on-going problem for quite sometime.Haiti has a huge emigration problem with their other neighbours not just DR.These countries include mainly the Bahamas,Turks & Caicos,Puerto Rico,Cuba & even as far as Florida. In fact, the problem is so large that the U.S. has actually re-activated the 4th Fleet to quell any tensions in the area & increased a much larger Immigration enforcement presence in Florida but not as much as it has in Puerto Rico where there is a very large CBP presence. The U.K. worried about the problem concerning the territorial integrity & logistical problem that might occur to the Turks & Caicos have also dispatched a Royal navy contingent to combat the problem. The stark reality is that instead of helping Haiti with its political problems the U.S.,U.K. & Caribbean islands in the area would rather choose to look onward as if the problem doesn't exist so you can basically expect this problem to continue, even in this 21st century.

It is also interesting that the Caribbean appears to be moving towards some sort of economic union which seem to include free movement of persons throughout the region.I'm not sure how this can work with the current problems in the Caribbean.

yes you are right, if you are born in the DR you are a citizen, the problem is more deeply rooted it comes from the times of colonialism, Dominicans think if they give them citizenship they would wanna take over the country politically, the same way Alipac see us. its a sad situation.
