So he didn't get anything(paper) back from the cop right? then if thats the case he shouldn't worry like i said before the cop probably just wrote his info to check if he had any prior offenses or warrants.

You also said he didn't even get a ticket. I think for anything to be on your record, they either give you a receipt/citation paper/makes him sign something. It sounds like it was just a verbal warning.

Can someone explain to me how you request a background check on someone or yourself??

I mean do you go up to the police station and just ask nicely and they give it out or do you have to fill out paperwork?

I've tried to apply to a few babysitting jobs and some require background checks.
I mean I've never been arrested or anything but I'm worried about it still
