McCain put out ads in the Wall Street Journal website saying he already won the debate that hasn't started yet.

I'm not defending McCain here, but Obama's guys are probably doing the same thing, simply preparing for the future. It's also what newspapers do during elections, they declare both candidates winners, write generally vague articles and print tons of copies. Depending on the winner they send out a specific batch for deliveries, how do you think those papers get to the newsstands so quickly? Printing takes a while.

Also it's not exactly hard to grab some random McCain picture and photoshop that in, just saying...

^ The story is legit. It came from Washington Post's Chris Cilizza (and a screenshot if you follow the link).

McCain Wins Debate

Quote:
Although the fate of tonight's presidential debate in Mississippi remains very much up in the air, John McCain has apparently already won it -- if you believe an Internet ad an astute reader spotted next to this piece in the online edition of the Wall Street Journal this morning.

"McCain Wins Debate!" declares the ad which features a headshot of a smiling McCain with an American flag background. Another ad spotted by our eagle-eyed observer featured a quote from McCain campaign manager Rick Davis declaring: "McCain won the debate-- hands down."

Here's the screenshot.

They already have. Have we not seen the :snickers: "PRESIDENTIAL" seal that the Obama camp made up?

Now, I know there's some major flaming to be had with this post but Sen. Obama is by no means a humble fellow:

"In 2016 I'll be wrapping up my second term as president...."

Holy flippin' arrogance, Batman!

^ That was a stupid move by Obama and got rid of it that day after heavy criticism. But this story is about McCain. What were the McCain people thinking? And that was this morning when we weren't even sure McCain was attending the debate!
