I know for a fact Penn State allows undocumented students. Call the international office, and ask you speak to someone about being admitted as an undocumented student. The person will tell you how to proceed from there.

^^ agree. It is different in college to college. Since I had to pay rutgers the tuition that an international pays, i was categorized under that. They didn't really ask me any other question about it. It's mostly a dont ask dont tell policy. Just talk to the college and ask them how an undocumented student can apply.

^Rutgers is making you pay international fees? that's interesting I know someone who just pays 'out-of-state' tuition

Finally someone from Georgia! What part of Georgia are you from? I live in Dalton, Georgia. Maybe I can be of some help in regards to what you are allowed to do in Georgia if you are undocumented and want to go to college. In May of 2007 I received my Bachelor's degree from a community college. Feel free to PM me your e-mail address so we can communicate more privately. I may not be of much help because like I said I went to a community college and by the looks of your grades you probably want to and deserve to go to a good university. Let me know if I can help.

If you live in some of the 7 states that allow undocumented kids access to in-state-tuition, you simply have to sign a waiver form indicating that you'll get status ASAP - something that I'll be doing.

For some other colleges, they don't care.
Duke, for instance, said they'll count you as international, and you'll have to take up the first year of the cost by yourself - so don't ask for aid. You get in easier without asking for it initially, and then you can ask it later.
UPenn told me that I'll be counted as a domestic student, but that I shouldn't apply for aid. Once im in, though, they'd reconsider my financial situation and give me what I need.

So yeah, schools vary.
Princeton and Yale don't give a rats ass about your status.

What is Penn State University's admission policy in regarding the application of an undocumented student who is currently living in USA?

Thank you for your e-mail to Penn State.
We will review for admission, but without a visa, it will not be possible to attend.

IbelieveIcanfly,

I just sent you a PM about Penn State. I applied and was accepted by Penn State for Graduate school for Fall 08. I didn't end up going there, but I pm-ed you the details the way I did it. Either they changed their policy or the person who checks the e-mails isn't properly informed
