anyone know whats the name of the Social Security Number ineligibility form?

or how to obtain one that states me not being eligible for an ssn number?

because i went to the social security office and they just printed out a sheet
thats says i cant get a social security number.

but theres a loophole in Michigan to renew my drivers license but the lady at the
secretary of state said i need an official form stating my ineligibility but i want to know the official name of such form , as to not get into an argument with the
social security office over which form to give me. Also my friends cousin already did it successfully but i cant contact him because he's out of town.

That is strange,I don't know what more proof would be needed than what you currently have.Maybe you should take a copy of the website stating the obvious.

If you are ineligible for a Social Security number, you must have a letter of ineligibility from the Social Security Administration attesting to that fact. Letters that are more than 30 days old will not be accepted.
However,I'm not sure that there is any loophole as Michigan is Real ID compliant.

No that only applies if you never had a license before i already went today to the secretary of state and all they asked was for a SSN or ineligibility letter but
the letter i gave was not the one they were looking for so i am asking has anyone ever got one before if so what the official form name.

many of my friends who are "dreamers" where lucky to renew but this was earlier in the year before most sos offices had the social security verification running.
like around March-June but my friends cousin supposedly got a new license by obtaining a inelbility letter from the social security office.
well i think i've seen you post on another thread that you have a non workers SSN right? then you can renew your license all they ask for is a ssn you can renew up to a year before it expires wish i would have known that before. so you lose nothing by trying . me on the other hand i am trying out a not so loophole by getting a ineligibility letter from the SS office and hope that i can get my license renewed.

oh dang, are you guys serious? So I can renew my license starting from one year before it expires with a legal ssn even though it's not authorized for employment?

O-M-G, that's awesome news...

This is why I love this forum.

Here we go;

http://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7...5226--,00.html

Now I'm wondering if my SSN would still be valid. Does anyone here know if my undocumented status effects the validity of my SSN or will it be always valid as long as it matches my name?

Thanks icewood, you just made my day.

^That's correct, because I'm pretty sure my mom kept her "not for work" ss# after adjusting via marriage.

As for the DL, I think it differs from state to state, because I know for a fact that some states allow you to use your expired DL (within a certain period, 45 ~ 60 days etc.) as a valid form of ID, to renew a new one.

State DMV websites will always have answers to whatever questions you might have.
