When I read threads like this, I'm reminded of some of those American draft dodgers of the Vietnam era. Some of them went to Canada (becoming immigrants) and helped liberalize Canada's already pretty liberal political culture.

It's fairly easy to do it thorugh mail. I did it when I turned 18 and received the card after about 5 weeks.

So if your undocumented you can still sign up for it?
where do i get the form?
what do you put if you dont have an SSN?
I heard if you sign up for it it will show as "good moral character" if theres ever a chance to legalize yourself?

As I weeded through mail, I came across my selective service registration letter. It is a generic letter imposed with personal data. When I filled out the card I kept the SSN line blank. However, I noticed that there is a SSN # on my "proof of registration" card, have any of you had a similar occurrence?
