Have any of you experience extreme coldness from your classmates?
OK, here's my situation. Im in the same statues as most of you guys here but i dont show it on my outermost appearance. so as i've been here for 2 years, i hid my real identity within all circumstances, like when my friends askd me if i could drive and i'll just say, 'ohh, my mum doesnt let me to.'
untill yesterday, i did the stupidest thing ever in my life. my school was taking the psat, and we have to fill out all those info on the front of the answer key. so there it was, the citizenship. i actually shaded the 'No' bullet without hesitation. and i realized that this girl who was sitting beside me might have noticed it. so i tried to cover it up, but i think they still saw it. this have been bothering me all day. and this morning, the whole atmosphere in the classrooms changed. people wont talk to me! i felt that rumors or words have been going around... OmG!!! wat should i do?? Help!

Hmm.
I took the PSATs yesterday, too, and marked the No box.
I covered it up with my hand the whole time we were on that side of the answering sheet, but I'm pretty sure nobody saw it.
If they did, they didn't care.

Are you sure that it's an actual change or it this just you being paranoid?

Not being a citizen does not necessarily mean you're illegal. If the girl sitting next to you suspected anything, it was probably because you overreacted by covering it up. Looks like you did it to yourself, mate, and that's what really hurts.

maybe anti-immigrant sentiment is bigger in some schools than in others. It's not necessarily paranoia on the victim's part - it's differences in school cultures.

Yes, I have experienced bullying and coldness. I have a hearing loss, first of all. Second, I was the nerd in school. I didn't like sports and there was a lot of bullying about that. So, yeah, it happens. Ignore the teasing, try to find some maverick friend or two on the sidelines, and try doing stuff with them like going to the movies or doing hw. See if that helps.

u can say ur not a citizen and still be a legal immigrant. If they ask, just tell them your immigration status is none of your busiwax.
