I totally want to quit because of all the crap you get from working and serving cheap asians and working at low end restaurant... but I need the money With economy like this, I should be thankful I even have a job, I am illegal after all lol.
I also work at a restaurant but yeah, like you it's under the table. It's not a crappy restaurant though... It's pretty classy but you gotta know the right people. And I hate how some Asians give us little tips. One Chinese dude left a penny one time. You're right though. We have to be thankful for everything we get.

how do u know the "right" people? Man I wish I worked at a better restaurant. But I hate working weekends and they give me the crappy MTW shift so I am staying here... Eventually I wanna work maybe tuesday, thursday night and teach kids tennis rest of the week for like 15 bucks an hour or something as side money.

yeah I hate asians, stingy punks.

Well, I have family members who work at a chain of Asian restaurants. The owner expanded his business to like 5 restaurants and he employs mostly illegal people... My uncle is good friends with him and hooked me up with a job that is actually good. I'd say, look around and ask around.

man~~ i couldn't agree more
i've been working as a waitress for all four years of college, it's been fun but the way the owner treats me because i have cash job is horrible,
in one job, i got paid $5 an hour and that's in california.
they fired me b/c they thought i was a bad server, but i only worked for it's worth, $5 an hour.
my current job, i get paid for 8 hours for 11 hours of work.
the owner has that sly smile whenever she asks me to work for no pay!!!
