Y'know, reading the comments below the story on the website really made me depressed. Of course, I'm numb to the pain now, but still, it's very despicable how people think of hardworking immigrants who don't get a chance in this rigged system.

And I wouldn't really mind if that woman fell in a ditch.

Because he didn't want to be. As a citizen he would have to pay taxes. He would have a real license and have to purchase insurance. He would not be able to get a lonestar card, or anything else. I'll bet he has used his child's name and SSN for more than the house. maybe school loans, etc. I once had a man write a message to me on youtube. He told me as an illegal alien working in the landscaping business, getting welfare, loanstar cards, under numerous names, etc. he made over $200,000 tax free. Why would you wish to gain citizenship? Look at that house behind him. I guarantee, it is a lot better than mine. But then he may have earned it. Who knows? The story did not go that far into his business. Maybe IRS will.

WOW thats pathetic. these people leaving comments are SO ignorant that it sickens me. how can you feel so strongly about anti immigration yet not know ANYTHING about immigration?

These people are like the KKK where the hatred for immigrants are ingrained in their head and will block out any arguments that say so otherwise. Not even an illegal immigrant that save their narrow-minded ass could change their mind.

I seriously detest the term "anchor baby." It's a slur directed against a BABY. When the (insert vulgar language here) did the BABY do anything? Think about it: the baby did not do anything to deserve that title. I'm almost positive that even the poster's ancestors were at one time, "anchor babies" born to immigrants.
