How to make a Library card

Do they ask for your I.D? Can I use my school ID or passport?

As far as I know, you can use your School ID or passport to get a library card.

When I got my library card, I was around 10 or 11, and they didn't ask for anything as far as I know.
You can always ask for an application and then walk away.

I used my school id....

They usually require proof of your name and address. A bank statement, utility bill, or credit card bill will probably be accepted.

At my city library I just filled out an application with name/address. Was not asked for any ID or proof of address.

At my college library I had to bring in my passport.
