I'm a business music major and i have been interested in playing the market for a while but as far as i know, you cant invest here in the u.s. unless you have legal status. So i got the idea of doing investing from my own home country. I'm from mexico and i have a cousin that works in banking over there in mexico and she is going to email me anything i need to start my own investments...right now it's not the safest time to play the stock market but i just want to familiarize myself with investing...become money savvy. So if anybody is interested I can post the information my cousin gives me here?

buy as much gold as possible within the next 48 hours.

the stimulus money has already been printed out. it is being created out of thin air. once the money starts being pumped into the economy the dollar is going to lose value against gold.

this stimulus money is a "hidden tax" instead of making us pay taxes they devalue the money we already have. oldest trick in the book.

with grills you are paying more for the craftsmanship than the gold.

stick to gold stocks or gold bullion.

I don't think that you need a legal status. You will need to pay taxes, and you could do it also with an ITIN (no need for a SSN).
Double check that.

You dont need SSN, I use my tax id, i invest through scottrade, check out gold ticker "IAU" its the gold index, lately its been going up and looks like it might continue after this bail out stimulus package. I am a finance major fortunalely for me i dont need legal status to use my intelligence in investing. Feel free to contact me anyone, we can share ideas, AIM- ethoswithme.

I know people who invested without a SSN, what if you write your ITIN number in the SSN field? contact them to see if its ok, I think it is.

I have a mutual funds account in which I invest money monthly so I can speak on this topic and the answer is that you don't need to be legal to invest because my mutual funds account has nothing to do with my legal status.
