Sorry guys it's in spanish, but here's a relevant article. I tried to translate some parts of it. And sorry again if this has been posted before.

http://www.elmundonewspaper.com/news.php?nid=5369

President Obama met recently with more than 60 leaders -including CEOs, legislators, and pro-immigration organizations representing minority groups all over the country, to come to an agreement as to what factors should be part of an immigration reform.

It's the first official statement from the White House in this matter. The President indicated that he wants a solid proposal in 90 days, even though he did not set a date as to when an immigration reform would be signed.

According to a statement released by the White House, the economic crisis, high school drop out rate among hispanics, and the necessity to solve the problems of the immigration system in the US were the top concerns among the hispanic community.

Wow this is great! 90 days? Hopefully that solid proposal is one that has to do with the Dream Act and not only CIR

EDIT: Is there a date on this article? I can't seem to find one.

My dad bought the newspaper where it was published, it has to be current. I can't find a date either but tomorrow I'll look at the paper copy and see what date it has.
