I'd have to learn the language a little better. Adapt to the people. Idk, it'd be a huge mess to be honest.

very true! I believe Mex wanted to pass a law regarding death penalty but was not voted on or something along those lines..*grr* since the new president of Mexico took over it seems it never happened.. Nothing has been done to improve Mexico in any way. Very sad

haha. this would be perfect in an ideal world. but unfortunately, mexico's corruption is way too advanced. honestly, i think that if the government wasnt so corrupt they would have ended with all the violence. but i guess "its not good for the business" if mexico wanted to stop all the violence they would have done so already. its another inconvinient truth.

for me, ALL my life (since i can remember) ive wanted to grow cabbage. idk. i have a thing for cabbage. its so good! when i tell people they look at me weird. so i think a cabagge farm would create a lot of jobs. ;D
i also love politics. but in mexico if you arent corrupt you get killed. eh. ill take my chances. ill be a good politician. hey, maybe ill become president. if i were to go back to mexico, i would defenetly go into politics or work for a national news station. i want to make a difference in the world. ya'know?

..either that, or go to England. it would be really easy to get a visa.

i grew up here had all my best time high school graduation, college life . so it kindaa scary just a thought of it so the best bet is to think positive and stay focus we are too close this time if not next time, if not there will be another way and i am pretty sure we dreamers know well about not giving up.

If you came legally there are other ways to get a legal status if DREAM Act fails. You can meet someone for real and get married.

If you came illegally without inspection and you are educated then maybe its for the best to go to Australia or Canada and work there legally.

I dont get the whole marriage thing. Some people that come here illegally get married and get their statuses so quickly or so I hear. However, there are others that arent as lucky.

What you don't understand? If you came legally and overstayed your visa - once you get married you will get a SSN and a legal status (in 2-3 months after filing the papers).
If you came illegally then you will have to go back to your country and get a 10 years ban and then you could come back after 10 years legally after you get your Green Card or you could file for a waiver, you won't get unless the situation is really messed up and they'll make an exception and give you the waiver. An example to a messed up situation: You marry a 98 years old and he gets a stroke and you need to be in the US to take care of him.

I understand now. Ive just heard stories of people that are illegal getting married and going trough a smooth process. Didnt someone from here get married and it wasnt all that hard for them.

For me marriage is not an option anyways, I wouldn't want anyone to deal with this situation.
