i know this whole driving thing is a big bump in our roads, but now that i look at it..i think it shouldn't matter if we have a driver's license or not. if we are good drivers & we insure our cars then wtf we should not let a driver's license stop us from driving to where we need to be. for awhile i was too scared to drive.. but i was tired of being 19 and still not being able to go behind the wheel of a car and drive.. i'm currently in the process of buying a car from my dad. (i knowww.. why doesn't he just give it to me!!? lol) but yeah i'm buying it from him..it's basically mine already because i drive it everywhere, but once i buy it i have to get my own insurance.. under my name. (THERE IS A WAY TO DO THIS..with just your matricula) atleast in Texas there is. i've gotten pulled over ONCE.. and i used my dad's insurance and it worked. i only got a ticket for no DL. which was $214 dollars. sucks, but i payed my dues already. but yeah i did get pulled over because supposedly my lights weren't working and it was in the same car that i'm buying from my dad..so another thing i gotta do before i start driving my car at night again is get my lights fixed. because TRUST me..there is a bigger chance to get pulled over at night then during the day.. i didn't think so, but it did happen to me.. which i never thought it would. but anyway..we all should have the RIGHT to drive.. it's so sad how a little privilege that all our friends have is being kept from US.. a long with other privileges..but that has not kept me from living my life. i DESERVE (we all do) it all because i also grew up here..grew up "AMERICAN" i don't know anything else. so i'm not letting this minor set back keep me from driving. i have my job that i need to get to everyday. i have places i want to go not having to depend on someone taking me. yeah i'm taking a risk, but so WHAT? we only LIVE once so we shouldn't let this get to us to...i can't do it anymore. plus hopefully the dream act will pass this year..and hopefully Obama does something about the whole DL thing so we can all at least be able to drive. so i won't have to be in fear of getting pulled over and paying a stupid ticket.. or maybe getting sent back to Mexico.. but i mean we gotta take the risk..but we also gotta be careful while we do it.. like not attract to much attention and also drive like we were the best drivers ever. i mean it's things like that you know.. i ALWAYS put a figure of a cross on my front view window and pray that i don't get pulled over.. it's seemed to work for me lately. but yeah i don't know i'm just ranting just because i'm tired of it. i'm going out there and i'm going to drive every damn place i want to go to..

Funny! That made my night. Love the optimism though. It is all fun and cool until you end up in jail but you worry about that when it happens.
