Help! I'm confused.

Ok well I am going to be visiting a high security place pretty soon. I am registered to go and everything, in fact, I think the event I will be attending REQUIRES you to take that tour, however, they just sent out a notification telling us what to expect and stuff and at the bottom it said No foreign nationals would be allowed. And then it goes on to say that a current photo ID (drivers license or passport) is required to be admitted - and to check for expiration as you will not be allowed with an expired ID. I have a current DL, so can I still go? I don't get it.

This place is high security because they make satellites and other kinds of aerospace stuff.

Yea, they contradict themselves all the time, if you have a current ID, how would they know your a freign national? Exactly, SO if i were you, i would go.

I guess when they mention passports, they will only accept U.S Passports

Yeah, so if they would check for social and that stuff they would specify to bring the card or know the number.

I doubt they would accept only passports because many US citizens don't even have one yet. And they said DL or Passport so yeah.

I meant to say that if I have a valid DL and that's all they require, can I still go?

Well if they stated that no foreign national allowed, they had their reasons for doing so. They might probably ask you if you are a U.S citizen when you get there. I wouldn't take the risk but you can.
