Hi everyone! I am a teacher from Houston, Texas. Many of my students are not citizens and I want to make sure that I help in any way possible to ensure that by the time they graduate they are able to go to the college of their choice.

Thank you so much. It would help us and them a lot if you could get them involved in contacting their senators. The "Taking Action" Section has many ideas. This is the most popular: 8,000 postcards- 20 senators.

Welcome, its good see counselors take an active part... it's amazing how after almost 8 years since HB 1403 was passed here in Texas the information has not been disseminated properly...

If you have any questions or your students do don't hesitate to ask them ...

That's true. I didn't know anything about HB1403 til my senior year after I talked to an immigration lawyer.

Hello. I am from Texas too -- 1st of all thanks for the support, and I think the best thing that everyone can do is lobby Senators Hutch and Cornyn. Hopefully we can conviced both of them to vote for the dream act.
