^Only you can define whether you have a "choice" or not. Others can't decide for you whether the risk is worth it, just make sure to weigh all of your options and play it out carefully.

As you guys can see, DREAMies on this site are being stopped and inspected further. Unfortunately, it is only a matter of time before one of those TSA agents escorts someone to ICE or asks an ICE agent to investigate.

If you've got a valid B1/B2 visa (border crosser's) (i'm the minority in this case I take it) you may request a travel permit into the country to pretty much wherever and however.

Well if you don't have proof of legal residence you can't renew at the moment, they are trying to get bills to repeal the legal presence requirement that DPS put on renewing drivers

Even IF YOU HAVE 2 valid IDs, say a valid state driver's license and a student ID, you still run the risk of being 'randomly searched' and looked into. My state issues licenses, Im lucky enough mine doesnt expire till 2013, and either does my student ID, but its still too dangerous to fly with illegal status. They can question you and look into your background very easily when 'randomly stopping' you. It sucks.

Alright, glad you made it home safely Gateway.

Airport security does behavorial profiling, and they target people who look nervous, fidgety, anxious, etc. They also may rifle through your passport as several people have experienced if you're about to board a plane. Be careful while you're at the airport.
