This guy has been in Fox News, CNN, and most recently ABC news opposing the Dream Act and CIR for the past 2 weeks or so. Saying that it's amnesty and all that to the dreamers relatives

Why does his opinion matter, he's not even in office. He must fall.

Well, he is using the media to further his agenda. Really, the most I read newspapers, the less i care about CNN and Fox. Conservatives can read the Economist and Liberals Mother Jones. Those two publications are better than any tv show. Except my liberal guru Bill Moyers, he is in my cool book every day of the week.

In any case, it is good that he goes around and spreads his hate. Good for him, lets use his energy to mobilize us in support of the Dream Act. Every time you feel lazy or like what you are doing is pointless, remember Tancredo is out there and he is using his power and status to further his own agenda.

Do what you feel helps. Be part of a local organization and talk to your Dean, principal, Sheriff or other leaders. Call our federal government, write, email or send post cards. Organize a parade, whatever gets your groove on.

There is only one rule do what you can, no more no less. If your mother has cancer and you can only give 15 min. Give that, if you are giving one hour but could give two, get off your butt and give the two.

Tell me about it. I read a comment on the "Star pupil to be deported?" link on the front page where the commenter said that she should have been smart enough to recognize that she was illegal and that she had to have used a fake SS# to go to school.

WTF? Since when did you need an SS# to go to high school? And so what if you know you are illegal? What are you going to do, deport yourself to some foreign country and leave your family and life behind for ten years? Only an idiot would do that...

The opposition is blinded by patriotism, xenophobia and ignorance. They actually think all their problems are going to go away if we're all instantly deported. They don't realize that they're just digging the grave for the U.S.
