Please help me understand?

how can a pedophile come to this country, marry a 16 year old teenager, get his green card, divorce her and live freely. when we are here struggling to do the right thing and get nothing, nothing? how can there be a god? if life isn't fair, doesn't that make him unfair? please help me understand because i fell like i'm turning into an atheist.

please don't lock this thread. i'm not bashing or arguing religion. i feel like crap n need other points of views to get through the day i'm having!

The judeo-christian explanation is that god sometimes makes you "bear crosses" on purpose because it makes you stronger, and able to appreciate god's love for you.

The eastern religious traditions (hinduism, buddhism) would call this "karma" and tell you that the pedophile will eventually get punished for his actions.

Atheism is centered around reality though, so it would most likely tell you to suck it up and realize that life is not perfect. Some evil people are just darn lucky.

life just isn't fair sometimes..... but it's not really about "why do bad things always happen to good people?"... it's really about how those people react to those bad things.... dont lose faith.... something better will one day come.

dont know about god or not. i say what ever floats your boat, as long as you dont rock mine and all's groovy.

As for the douche bag getting his GC? that stuff happens ALL the time. God has nothing to do with it, INEPT government policies DO.

i just feel like i'm gonna stab someone, lol. but then i know all "aliens" will be blamed for my actions.
