ok, so the summer is coming and im thinking of going on a small vacation. and my friend is planning to return to CA this summer and im thinking of going with him then stop by disneyland. but the thing is that he's flying. im afraid that if i go on the plane with him would they check my passport cause i overstayed my visa 3 years ago and i dont have anyform of identification. should i risk the chance? oh, im in PA..

Don't fly. Don't take Amtrak. Even Greyhound's a risk. It's not worth it because people have been stopped before.

Is it that much of a threat?

I guess I'm one of the "lucky ones".

I renewed my passport a while back, so now it says it's valid until 2011, and the place where it's supposed to say the date I should've left the U.S. is blank.
Only the little card paper called I-94 has the date printed on it, it's in the back of my passport, but when I travel, I take it out, so when they check my Passport, no one ever asks.

Yes it is,check this thread for further details. It isn't the passport that is the problem it is the lack of being able to prove status if another agency other than TSA is involved, such as CBP.
