Hello everyone!

I just came back late last night from Washington D.C. I had the privilege to go speak to some of our leaders regarding immigration reform. Initially all I wanted was to talk to them about the Dream Act, but to my surprise they said that it would be a part of a COMPREHENSIVE Immigration Reform!!!! Mostly everyone on Capitol Hill says they will support it!!!

Of course, politicians say a lot of things, but at least I know I have done my part by speaking to them. One even asked to hear my personal immigrant story and was fascinated by it.

I just wanted to share this because it is very encouraging!!! If we all put our little grain of salt, then God will take care of the rest.

I wish that person would tell us who they spoke with.

Great news, though.

Thanks, but on the other hand I want to see dream as a stand alone bill. God knows if CIR will be on the floor this year, and I can just imagine all the politics that will be played. DREAM needs to pass so we can live our lives!

both acts should pass
i am very concern about my sister
since the current DA is 15 yrs old or under when brought to US
my sister was around 16, 17 when she came here
DA is the easiest way to get her a status, she is a very talent girl, will go to medical school soon

CIR is necessary too, esepically it will add even more labor and will mean, more money to the treasury and the states
