Well i live in Connecticut (CT)!

question! someone please help me with some information, my papers are in the system, but ever since sept 11, they got stuck there, but i recieved a letter saying that my papers are in process. What good is that? i'm 18 and soon to be graduating in June, i got accepted to Tiffin university which is in Ohio and at the moment i'm freaking out because i really want to go college. I know that i'm not the only one panicing but i just perfer to recieve some guidance from someone.

[omitted] Waiting for this dream act is tough but at the moment i desperatly need help on knowing what to do and if i'm doing the right thing..

anyone else from CT?

Houston use to be OK...since two illegals killed two cops...things changed FAST!
Now they even deport you if you don't have an ID!!

Over in the barrio...the cops hang around the cantinas and pull over the paisas as they're leaving. Hell one asshole chicano cop made a U-turn and pulled me over and told me he stopped cause it was a routine stop to "check for insurance."

el paso is not bad. Big enough city to have everything you need, but small enough to not have the problems of a big city (cheap rent/housing, living expenses, property taxes, no violence, traffic not so bad, pollution is so so etc..). You may have the biggest concentration of Border Patrol agents than in any other border in the south, but I rarely hear of any raids. A big majority of ppl are 1st or 2nd generation immigrants so it's like an unspoken tolerance between border patrol and the citizens. It's no surprise either that a lot of these agents are pochos of 2nd generation (including HS classmates).

You guys may not believe it, but I actually got a flyer from the border patrol to JOIN THEM! I should've saved the damn thing...I mean where's the database?

IT'S A CITY!!!!!!

but why so many people choose to live other places? I always find city is the best place to live, even when I am a legal resident...

give me your opinion
1) best place for undocumented at this point
2) your preference on living (city, suburban, or others)

Are you joking? Those two places are the worst. Those two places have the highest cost of living in the USA.

How about Texas.

Best place to live is the lowest cost of living.

Probably Texas.

I don't think the OP was referring to cost of living.

Cost of living is major factor though.
