Hmm.... I think the article did point out something but the decline... not really I guess? The legal immigration declined for many reasons.

The rate of illegal immigrants surely, did decline not only because the border did get more secure, but the economy also put an end to many people. But not too many would even think of that reason, because if they want a good living, they wouldn't even care if it means $50 per day or something like that.

At this point, the Hispanic is still the leading of this immigration reform. I am an Asian person. Although we support it just like how Hispanic communities support it, we don't have really strong organizations take the actions like what we see on the TV. You see in the march, I see more Hispanics than any other ethnic groups.

Most Asian people tend to live in the cities like NYC or San Francisco.
I don't know what the deal is. But I want to see more and more groups working together.

im white, but i don't get the whole WHITE IS THE BEST mentality. people can be a fuck up OR they can be descent people. It comes in all colors. its important to stop generalizing people like that. there's successful white people and there's successful black people; and vise versa.

its all about how your brought up and where your brought up in society, many minorities in this country grew up with only one family member, that had a huge impact on a child's life. that's why is important to have a healthy America, regardless of color or who is superior.

Everyone all over the world is immigrating. Because of the wars and bad things that happen; immigration is a necessity for survival; not for joyride.

I want a majority of smart people, descent people. idc where they from

I guess this can be considered somewhat of "good news" in the sense that it might convince some politicians that immigration reform will not "open the floodgates" for others who want to come here illegally. I think they're more inclined to pass something if the wave of immigration slows down.

Of course I think everyone should be allowed in if they have something to contribute but people don't always agree.

Does the government actually count the illegal into these statistics to determine this "most likely to become the majority" in the future?
