Obama Speaking at ASU
Before Obama speaks, they are honoring a couple of graduates who did exceptionally well. One of the graduates was a kid names Oscar who coudn't take advantage of many scholarships he got because of an immigration technicality( dream act?). They went on to talk about how he had to hang sheetrock and the hardships he went through because of his immigration status to put himself through college. I was glad they honored this kid because Obama was sitting right there and heard everything. Hope he mentions the dream act in his speech.

President Obama won’t have to go far to see some of the undocumented students graduating from ASU. They’ll be sitting across from him in the audience. Among them will be Dulce, 24, who asked that her last name be withheld due to her immigration status. She, like many of her classmates, expects to hear Obama mention the DREAM Act, which would allow for the legalization of undocumented students under certain conditions. It will be a bittersweet graduation for the student who will receive a degree in electrical engineering without being able to join the Arizona workforce because she doesn’t have proper documentation. “If he looked, the president would see how many bright people are going just to waste. That isn't Obama's job, obviously he isn't even a part of the Senate anymore. Anyway, that's SML Reid's job, it's his responsibility to schedule a time on the calendar for votes on a specific bill.
