A very close friend of mines works for the U.N representing an African country he told me that his delegation will meet Pres Obama next week, I wanna ask him to ask him about Dream/cir but i don't know if that's asking my friend too much. ideas?

if he's willing to do it, why not? dont push the issue if he doesn't feel comfortable.

No, really push the idea. He's a friend, right? So he should help you. Also, if you want something, ask him or her about it. The worst he can say is no.

What African country is he from? The friend could ask about Dream in terms of Dreamies from that African country who need relief. Unless he's a higher up official, I'm assuming the friend will just get a meet and greet and probably get like 2 seconds of time with Obama, if he gets a chance to talk to him at all. But if he gets a photo op with him, he can ask about it.

I think asking him would be a great idea...except that it wouldn't be topical. In these meetings they probably have an established agenda of what they're going to discuss. Maybe your friend can ask him after, or when the topic of immigration comes up.
